This policy explains what data ModularSetup collects, why, and what you can do about it. It covers the website at modularsetup.com.
What we collect
- Contact form submissions. If you use the contact form we store the name, email address, subject and message you provide, along with your IP address and browser user agent for spam protection.
- Cookie consent choice. Your Accept or Reject decision is stored in your browser’s local storage under the key
cookie_consent. Nothing else is stored client-side. - Analytics. Only if you explicitly accept non-essential cookies. If you reject them, no analytics script is loaded and no traffic data is collected.
Legal basis
Contact form data is processed on the basis of your consent and our legitimate interest in answering reader correspondence. Analytics is processed on the basis of your consent, which you may withdraw at any time using the Cookie Settings control in the consent banner.
Retention
Contact form submissions are retained for up to 24 months so that ongoing correspondence has context, then deleted. Analytics data is aggregated and retained per the analytics provider’s own schedule.
Your rights
You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be erased. Email privacy@modularsetup.com and we will respond within 30 days.
