ModularSetup reaches a focused audience of Eurorack owners, synthesists, producers and instrument builders. These are readers who buy hardware, know what they are looking at, and search for specific modules by name.
Audience
- Primary interest: Eurorack modular systems, semi-modular synths, hardware sequencing, studio routing.
- Reading behaviour: long-form reviews and technical comparisons, with a high proportion of readers actively planning a purchase.
- Typical engagement: full-length review reads rather than traffic pass-through.
Placements and rate card
- Leaderboard, 970×250, site-wide — above the header on all pages.
- In-article unit, 728×90 — placed once mid-content on review and news posts.
- Sidebar card, 300×250 — alongside review content on desktop.
- Sponsored feature — a clearly labelled, editorially written piece about a product or release, scheduled on a fixed date.
Rates are quoted per campaign on request and scale with placement mix and duration. Inventory is deliberately limited: we cap advertising density so that editorial content remains the reason people visit.
Sponsored review guidelines
- Sponsored content is always labelled Sponsored at the top of the piece.
- We do not sell review scores, and we do not remove a verdict or its cons as a condition of a sponsorship.
- We will not publish a review based only on a manufacturer’s own materials. If we have not had it in hand, we will not review it.
- Advertisers have no sight of editorial content before publication and no approval rights over it.
- Affiliate relationships are disclosed on every page that carries a commercial link.
Banner specifications
- Formats: PNG, JPG, SVG or HTML5 zip.
- Maximum file weight: 150 KB for raster assets.
- Animation: permitted, must loop cleanly and must not flash.
- All creative is reviewed before placement. We may decline anything that reads as deceptive or that imitates our own design.
